When fish oil is obtained by the consumption of fish as a whole food, the way of preparation of the fish makes a huge difference. Fish which is either baked or boiled helps in reducing the risk of heart diseases. But consuming it as fried fish or through fish sandwiches cuts out the benefits of fish oil and has the potential to somewhat increase the risk of heart diseases.
